A series of striking, cinematic scenes channels the athlete’s essence — confidence, resilience, and contemporary ambition — shaped by sharp instinct for light, texture, and composition. Lasers slice through the darkness, her image projected back onto herself, creating a layered play of identity and aspiration. Elevated by Sander Vandenbroucke’s cinematography and Jef Boes’ powerful photography and Direction, each image was carefully designed to capture VDK’s message and honour Nina’s legacy.
