In the spot directed by Jef Boes for Aka De Mensen, we see players and fans from back then reunite as they describe how they remember that championship year down to the smallest detail. You never forget anything like that. The legendary archival footage is the ultimate proof of that. But what’s really punishing is that that another team could write an almost similar dream story this season: Union Saint-Gilloise. The team that Lierse supporters pay tribute to in their own way at the end of the spot that concludes with the line “If history repeats itself, you’ll see it on Play Sports.
