On September 18 – 2018 , Audi proudly presented its first 100% electric model in San Francisco. The Audi e-tron, a premium SUV with driving range of more than 400 km measured according to WLTP driving cycle, is built at Audi Brussels in Forest. To add extra strength to the launch in Belgium, Prophets canned a spot for Audi featuring national athletics star Nafi Thiam.

Audi thus called on Belgian know-how and the Forest plant to make its first 100% electric SUV see the light of day. “The production line in Forest serves to drive the Audi e-tron to all corners of our planet. And that’s unique,” says Sam De Win, Creative director at Prophets. “Audi Import Belgium was therefore keen to announce this exclusive first to the rest of the world in an original way.”

And that’s where Nafi Thiam, who has been an Audi ambassador for several years, came in. Two powerful electric motors power the new Audi e-tron. But what if our national athletic pride charges the 95 kWh lithion-ion battery? Prophets and Audi tested it out and placed Nafi Thiam on a treadmill at the Audi factory in Forest. There, the athlete enthusiastically completed a running workout to charge the battery of the Audi e-tron.
The spot itself – in which the two paragons of top performance shine – will soon be distributed on social media and shown in cinemas.
